What Is Confessions Of A DisNerd?

Founded in 2012, Confessions of a DisNerd has been a blog about all things Disney, or at least somehow linked in the vast expanse of time and space to Disney, as seen through the eyes of a dedicated fan.

Confessions of a DisNerd encourages reader participation through comments and discussion. We love being part of a bigger community – one that is united by a common interest and appreciation for all things Disney. As part of a “refocusing” of the blog, Confessions encourages readers to share their stories for possible publication in the future. Whether it be a story about a first visit to a Disney theme park, a favorite Disney or Pixar movie, the influence of a Disney song, the perseverance of Walt Disney, or any other aspect of Disney, we all have stories to tell and share. Confessions of a DisNerd is here to tell those stories to share with the world. People interested in sharing their stories are encouraged to inquire by contacting Confessions via email at COADisNerd@cox.net or through private message on the Confessions Facebook page.

Confessions of a DisNerd is in no way affiliated with The Walt Disney Company or any of its subsidiaries. Confessions of a DisNerd is the property and subsidiary of Craig D. Barton – Creative Consultant, Writer, and Editor. Any opinions expressed are those of the author’s, and are not necessarily representative of any others that profess to be DisNerds.

  1. Just read your post on the definition of a DisNerd.. Can definitely relate with the Pirate Water (at least once a week) and Dole Whip (my go-to treat there, along with churros + coffee), and at my house we have one of those sacred empty coffee tins sitting on top of the fridge as decoration. This past week I’ve watched Fantasmic! on YouTube 5 times. Disneyland was a huge part of my childhood and every time I get to go back (currently in MN, so not often) it’s wonderfully nostalgic.. love Disneyland. I’m glad your daughter will get that same experience đŸ™‚ Lucky, lucky girl.

  2. Hi there! I’m glad I found your blog. I’m going through it and loving the way you make me think about all things Disney. I’m also a Disney fan but as of lately, my fandom has been falling by the wayside. But I try to keep it alive. Been going to Disneyland regularly for the past 9 years.
I look forward to reading more!

  3. Hello everyone, just wanted to say that I am glad to be able to see blogs like this with people that live Disney as much as I do.
