“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Delivers Stellar Ratings (Plus Mini-Review)

ABC’s highly anticipated “Marvel’s Agents of Shield” premiered last night to the highest ratings for a television debut in nearly four years. It drew in 11.9 viewers and garnered a 4.6 share in the much coveted 18-49 category.
I will admit, I was one of those 11.9 million viewers last night. Being a fan of what has been done within the Marvel universe thus far, I was intrigued to see how it would play out on the small screen. My view? It was fun. It was an hourlong popcorn flick. Obviously, being the pilot, there was a lot of exposition going on. I can’t wait to see this show pick up a little more steam in the coming weeks – hopefully it does! Clark Gregg looks like he’s having a lot of fun reprising his role of Coulson and is glad to be back in the world of superheroes, even if not working directly with them. It’s definitely on my watch list for now.
What about you, fellow DisNerds? Did you watch the premiere? What did you think of this new entry into the ever expanding Disney/Marvel-sphere?
